I started this book on Monday, 9/23/19. I started this book with no background of the story. I have also not seen the Netflix show. I heard really good reviews on Booktube and Bookstagram. So although I had no prior knowledge of this book, I realized I did have high hopes when I started reading. My last two book reviews have been great. I have finally hit a book wall.

What I mean when I say book wall, is that I have finally found a book I am not really excited about while reading. So far, it has not really grabbed my attention. It’s not a bad book. The writing is great. It’s just the story is not that captivating. Also at the beginning, it took me a while to understand the flow of the book. It goes from present to past almost in the same sentence. Now i know this and my brain is able to grasp that. It’s like in movies when they fade from the current to a flashback. I don’t dislike it, I just want a little more. Stay tuned!
